Neuroscience Explainer Video for ZEISS
We were tasked to create a short animated video that vividly illustrates the scientific leap the Max Planck Institute and ZEISS Microscopy achieved, a breakthrough allowing researchers to color-code and distinguish up to 10 different cells inside the brain of mice. This was a significant advancement from the traditional black-and-white cell observation, with vast implications for personality disorder research.
For the design direction, the idea was to encapsulate the shift from monochrome to a vivid color spectrum, echoing ZEISS' breakthrough in brain research. This color transformation isn't merely aesthetic. It symbolizes the newfound depth of insight into the human brain.
